Edexcel A-Level Arabic past papers (9AA0)

This hub is being built out. In the meantime, the honest guidance: use the official Pearson materials, not the scraper sites that rank for paper-code searches. Pearson publishes past papers and mark schemes for 9AA0 on the qualification page, and the mark schemes are the more valuable half — they show you exactly what the examiner rewards.

How to use a past paper properly

• Do it to time, once, before you look at anything. A paper you’ve half-read isn’t a practice paper any more.
• Mark against the real criteria. Translation and the written responses are where students most misjudge their own work — the mark scheme is specific about what earns marks.
• Practise translation in both directions. Into English (Paper 1) and into Arabic (Paper 2) are different skills, both examined.
• Don’t skip Paper 3 listening. It’s the hardest to self-practise and the easiest to neglect.
